The 2022 Taranaki Dairy Industry Awards saw strong entries in all three categories – Share Farmer of the Year, Dairy Manager of the Year, and Dairy Trainee of the Year. Area Sales Manager Kylie Northcott enjoyed what was a great night to celebrate the ever-growing talent in the Dairy Industry. “These awards are held in such high regard. Nick Besinga’s journey to be the Dairy Manager of the Year for the Region is unique. Three years ago, he was a Dairy Trainee contestant and when one of the sponsors was looking for a manager, he called Nick and offered him the job. The outcome has seen Nick rewarded with the McFall Fuel People & Leadership Award for Dairy Manager of the Year,” said Kylie.
